Research Engineer

Qualifications (required):

  1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  2. Knowledge of fundamental engineering practices and procedures.
  3. Experience with computational analysis.
  4. Communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications (beneficial):

Previous experience with:

  1. Finite element analysis of problems associated with thermal analysis, computational fluid dynamics, electromagnetic and thermo-mechanical analyses of engineering structures and processes.
  2. Working in a commercial research/consulting environment.
  3. ANSYS/ICEPAK software.
  4. COMSOL Multiphysics software.
  5. Java programming.
  6. Documentation of analytical results.


Work under the supervision of experienced scientists and engineers to develop and apply advanced finite element procedures and translate the solutions into practical applications.
